YogaKids Tools for Schools is a breakthrough new teaching solution from YogaKids –offering you turnkey ways to integrate the many benefits of yoga into the classroom at an incredibly low cost per student – and also important – without additional workload for your educators.
The Tools for Schools program, designed for children ages 5 to 12, uses yoga techniques as a catalyst to educate the whole child. The program links movement and creative activities to the subjects you cover daily in your classroom. It works with and supports existing core curriculum and standards, helping you achieve your teaching goals.
Teachers will:- Gain methods of incorporating movement with curriculum
- Learn how to utilize “multiple intelligence” teaching to reach all students
- Increase their ability to work with children with special needs
- Understand how to easily meet state requirements for physical activity in the classroom
- Increase student participation, comprehension and retention
YogaKids Tools for Schools Training Fee:
School wide/District wide- $100 per hour up to 10 teachers
- $150 per hour over 10 teachers
- $99 per 3 hour training
- $169 per 6 hour training
- $80 per hour for in classroom teaching support or after school YogaKids instruction
Tools for Schools products, including pose cards, teacher’s manual, DVDs, and classroom posters can now be purchased at any time from the Yogakids website.
Please note: The Pose Card Tool Box and Teacher’s Manual are required components for the Tools for Schools Training.
